Ash Echoes Global Ended June 18 With No Cash Refund: The Transfer Terms, and Why SEA Is a Separate Game

Ash Echoes Global closed on June 18, 2026, and NEOCRAFT published no cash refund plan. What it published instead was a conversion: money spent in the game becomes 60 Rainbow Gems or 40 Spiral per USD $1, redeemable only inside two other NEOCRAFT titles, and only after a fresh character reaches Lv.20. Nothing was returned in currency.
The notice went up on May 6, 2026, six weeks before the servers went down. That is the version of Ash Echoes that verifiably died. The Southeast Asia build, published by a different company on different servers, has never had an end-of-service announcement, and this page will not report one until Noctua Games publishes it.
The Global timeline, as it actually ran
| Date | Event |
|---|---|
| November 13, 2024 | Ash Echoes Global launches |
| February 2025 | Steam channel closes, over a year before the servers |
| May 6, 2026 | Service Termination Notice published |
| May 7, 2026 | Final content update, Chapter 9 Main Story Event. Downloads and in-app purchases disabled. Daily farewell rewards begin |
| June 17, 2026, 23:00 | Servers taken down, logins stop |
| June 18, 2026 | Stated end of service |
The operative detail is the last two rows. The notice named June 18, but access ended at 23:00 on June 17. Anyone who planned a final session on the stated date did not get one. The coverage available does not carry a timezone offset alongside that 23:00 figure, so treat the hour as published rather than as a converted local time.
Purchases were switched off on May 7, the day after the announcement and the same day as the last story chapter. Farewell rewards ran daily from that point to closure: Resonance Clue ×10 and Momentary Backflash ×10. No reason for the shutdown was given beyond standard termination language, then or since.

No monetary reimbursement was announced. GameHaunt is the only outlet to state that plainly, and the practical consequence is that a spender's only route to actual cash is a refund request under their own app store's policy, judged case by case.
The published compensation is an account transfer to two other NEOCRAFT games.
| Term | Value |
|---|---|
| Destination games | Tree of Savior: NEO, Tales of Wind: Radiant Rebirth |
| Rate | 60 Rainbow Gems or 40 Spiral per USD $1 spent in Ash Echoes Global |
| Basis | Money spent, not currency balance held |
| Claim gate | A character on the destination server at Lv.20 |
| Final step | Contact in-game customer service |
Read the basis row twice. The rate keys off lifetime spend, not on what sat unused in the account at closure. A player holding a large untouched premium balance is not reimbursed for that balance, and a player who spent the same amount years earlier and burned it all is treated identically. Unused currency was not separately compensated.
The Lv.20 gate is the step no competing coverage mentions. Logging into Tree of Savior: NEO with the linked account is not enough. A character has to exist on that server and reach level 20 before support will process the conversion.

All Ash Echoes Global account data was permanently deleted at server close: Echomancer rosters, Memory Traces, story progress, friend lists. No offline mode was built, no private server was sanctioned, no archive was published. Players with the client already installed could finish the story before June 17, and that window is gone.
The Global iOS listing at app ID 6484504004 now returns a 404. The Global game site at ae.neocraftstudio.com redirects to NEOCRAFT's corporate homepage, where the portfolio shows Tree of Savior and Tales of Wind and no Ash Echoes.

SEA is not Global, and no SEA closure has been announced
A claim has circulated that Ash Echoes SEA ceased operations on July 24, 2026 at 12:00 GMT+7, on roughly two days' notice. It has no source at any evidence tier. Six search formulations across English, Indonesian and publisher-specific phrasing returned nothing. The documents most often cited for it are the Ash Echoes Global termination notice, dated May 6 for a June 18 closure, which is six weeks of notice for a different product.
Checked on August 1, 2026: the Noctua Games news index carries no termination item for the title. The SEA App Store listing is live, seller NOCTUA GAMES INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD., version 1.0.3 dated October 29, 2025, with no closure language. The Ash Echoes SEA official YouTube channel is still up.
The two builds are structurally separate products, which is why NEOCRAFT's decision does not automatically travel.

| Reward campaigns | Run by NEOCRAFT | Run separately by Noctua Games |

Prism News' code guide is the clearest evidence of the split: SEA codes fail on Global and Global codes fail on SEA, because the reward systems are administered by different companies.
That matters directly for money. The transfer offer was published by NEOCRAFT for Ash Echoes Global. There is no published basis for an SEA spender to claim it, and Noctua Games has published nothing equivalent. Anyone telling SEA players their purchases convert at 60 Gems per dollar is extrapolating.

The honest reading of the SEA build's public trace is that it went quiet early. Last iOS build October 29, 2025. Last publisher news item January 2025. That pattern is consistent with a wind-down, and it is also consistent with a low-investment service left running. It proves neither. Status: undetermined. Absence of an announcement is not an announcement.

Global ran about 19 months, from November 13, 2024 to June 18, 2026. It was declared dead less than 18 months after launch. Estimated lifetime player spending reached roughly $865,000 gross and $571,436 net, per AppMagic figures reported by GamingOnPhone and Game8. Worldwide downloads never passed one million.
The decline is datable. Revenue fell away from March 2025 onward and sat near zero from December 2025. The Steam channel had already closed in February 2025, which in hindsight was the first structural retreat rather than a platform housekeeping decision.
The Chinese version is a separate matter and remains up, running on low-power maintenance since January 2026. A Japanese version on its own servers is also referenced, at lower confidence.

Ash Echoes is a multiverse real-time tactical RPG developed by Aurogon Shanghai, set after the Skyrift Incident, casting the player as Director of S.E.E.D. recruiting Echomancers pulled from merged universes. Combat mixed real-time tactics with auto-battler and tower-defence elements over a roguelike-flavoured progression layer, on Unreal Engine.
It went through a Chinese closed beta in 2023, opened global pre-registration in July 2024, and shipped on iOS, Android, Steam and a NEOCRAFT PC launcher. The developer credit is worth stating explicitly because a wrong one is in circulation: no studio called "Aurora Studio" is attached to this game.

Three things that would move this page
A Noctua Games termination notice. It would appear on noctua.gg/news or on the SEA App Store listing before it appears anywhere else. Until one of those two carries it, the SEA status stays undetermined here.
An SEA compensation scheme. If Noctua Games publishes one, the open question is whether it matches NEOCRAFT's 60 Gems / 40 Spiral rate or sets its own. There is currently nothing to compare.
A claim-window deadline on the transfers. NEOCRAFT has not published an expiry for the Tree of Savior: NEO and Tales of Wind conversions. Anyone still holding an unclaimed Ash Echoes Global spend should treat the Lv.20 process as time-sensitive until a deadline is stated or ruled out.
FAQ
When did Ash Echoes Global shut down? June 18, 2026. Logins actually stopped at 23:00 on June 17, the night before, so the last playable moment was on the 17th.
Did Ash Echoes SEA shut down on July 24, 2026? There is no evidence that it did. No announcement exists from Noctua Games, no outlet reports one, and the SEA App Store listing carries no termination notice as of August 1, 2026. The SEA status is undetermined.
Can I get a cash refund for Ash Echoes Global? Not from NEOCRAFT. No monetary refund plan was announced. The only cash route is a refund request through Apple or Google under their own store policies.

How do I claim the transfer? Log into the destination game with the account linked to your Ash Echoes Global character, create a character on that server, level it to Lv.20, then contact in-game customer service.
Does the transfer cover money I spent on Ash Echoes SEA? There is no published basis to assume it does. NEOCRAFT published the offer for Ash Echoes Global. SEA runs under Noctua Games, which has announced nothing equivalent.
Is my Ash Echoes Global account data still recoverable? No. All account data was permanently deleted at closure. There is no offline version and no archive.
Who developed Ash Echoes? Aurogon Shanghai. NEOCRAFT LIMITED published the Global version and Noctua Games International Pte. Ltd. publishes the SEA version.
How long did the game run? Global ran roughly 19 months, November 13, 2024 to June 18, 2026. The Chinese version is still up on low-power maintenance.

Correction, August 1, 2026: an earlier version of this article reported that Ash Echoes SEA ceased operations on July 24, 2026 at 12:00 GMT+7 with approximately two days' notice, credited the game to "Aurora Studio", and stated that no refund information had been published. None of those claims survived verification. The July 24 SEA closure has no source at any evidence tier, the developer is Aurogon Shanghai, and a compensation scheme was published for the Global version. The article has been rewritten around the shutdown that is documented.
