Cookie Run: Crumble Is Live: 2 Million Pre-Registrations, 69 Cookies, and an August 29 Mailbox Deadline
Every pre-registered account has until August 29, 2026, 11:59 PM (GMT+9) to empty its launch mailbox, and the haul sitting in it is the largest free block the game will hand out this year. Cookie Run: Crumble went live worldwide at 10:00 KST on July 30, 2026. Pre-registration closed above 2 million, which cleared every milestone tier and unlocked the 2M bonus on top.
Devsisters published the count in the launch press release, superseding the 1.8 million figure that circulated during the final pre-registration week. The 300 million-player Cookie Run franchise now has its first idle game, developed by Studio Kingdom.
The mailbox, the deadline, and the free SSR
Log in once and everything below lands in the in-game mailbox at the same time. Nothing here requires spending.
| Reward | Quantity | Source tier |
|---|---|---|
| Premium Cookie Cutters | 100 | 500K milestone |
| Premium Pet Tickets | 100 | 1M milestone |
| Pick-up Cookie Cutters | 100 | 2M bonus |
| Pick-up Pet Tickets | 100 | 2M bonus |
| Crystals | 1,000 | 100K milestone |
| Coins | 10,000 | 300K milestone |

The Pick-up variants are the ones that matter. Premium Cookie Cutters roll the general pool; Pick-up Cookie Cutters roll the rate-up banner, which at launch means the Oven Wanderer Cookie feature. Two hundred pulls' worth of currency arrives before you have played a single stage.
Running alongside it is a 7-day login event that awards SSR Cream Soda Cookie on day 7, plus a separate 30-day attendance track. Cream Soda is not a filler giveaway: the freshest ranked roster on the web puts it in the top tier. Seven consecutive daily logins is the entire cost.
Accounts linked to another CookieRun title receive additional bonuses on top. If you have a Kingdom or OvenSmash account, link it before you claim.
Launch time was 10:00 KST, not 10:00 local
The original announcement printed "10:00 AM" with no timezone, and a large amount of launch-week coverage read that as a rolling local-time rollout. It was not. Servers opened once, worldwide, at 10:00 KST, which means North and South America got the game on the evening of July 29.
| Zone | Local unlock time | Date |

| KST / JST | 10:00 am | July 30 |

Pre-download opened a day earlier on July 29. Our pre-download piece covers the store listings, the 665.7 MB iOS build and the full system requirements matrix.
What actually launched
The day-one build ships 69 Cookies and 54 Pets. Teams field up to 12 Cookies plus Pets, which is a wide bench by idle-RPG standards and the reason the class split below matters more than raw rarity.

Combat is survivor-style auto-battle on campaign maps. Cookies move, target and use skills without input; the player's decisions are team composition, gear, and which progression system to feed next. Idle earnings accrue offline and are claimed from the Auto Hunt screen. Describing this as a deck-builder, as most of the pre-launch coverage did, undersells how little the moment-to-moment resembles one.
Three classes
Vanguard, Defender, Shooter. Two independent guides confirm the same three names, and neither the official store copy nor most of the launch-week coverage defines them at all. Build one of each early rather than stacking your best rarities: Plaque Tower floors and Crumble Dungeon bosses gate on composition, not on collection power.
Four rarities, one TSSR
The ladder runs TSSR > SSR (orange) > SR (purple) > R (blue).

Oven Wanderer Cookie is the only TSSR in the launch roster and the pick-up banner feature. Brightseeker Cookie and ReadyBerry Cookie are also launch-featured. Your three starters are Dark Cherry Cookie, Grapevine Cookie and Berry Yogurt Cookie.
One widely-shared tier list ranks Oven Wanderer in A tier, below eleven SSRs. Every other tracker puts the game's single TSSR at the top. Treat any ranking that buries it as a ranking assembled without rarity labels.
Devsisters has not published gacha rates or a pity structure. No outlet has a rate sheet. Community reporting says TSSR Cookies only become pullable from gacha level 6 unless bought through the paid exclusive offer (T3, unverified). That single mechanic is what every reroll guide currently hinges on, and it has no official confirmation behind it.
Six modes

| Mode | What it is |
|---|---|
| Campaign maps | Story progression, survivor auto-combat, the idle income source |
| Crumble Dungeon | Full-roster boss battles, scored, leaderboard |
| Daily Dungeon | Material farming; limited free keys per day, ad-refillable |
| Plaque Tower | Challenge floors with per-floor mechanics that force varied comps |
| Arena | PvP with competitive rankings and rewards |
| Mercenary Guild | Attack, defence and max-HP perks, reached via the clover button |
A naming note worth getting right: the Devsisters press release calls the tower mode Plaque Tower. Several trackers call it "Implant Tower", which conflates it with the Implant Order, the antagonist faction the Crumble Mercenary Guild is investigating. They are two different things.
Your first session, in priority order

- Link your other CookieRun account, then open the mailbox and claim everything. The deadline is August 29 but the currency compounds, so claiming on day one is worth more than claiming on day 28.
- Spend the 100 Pick-up Cookie Cutters on the rate-up banner, not the general pool. Hold the Premium Cutters until you know whether the gacha-level-6 gate is real for your account.
- Clear campaign stages until the Oven unlocks. Auto-bake arrives around Oven level 2 to 3 and then sorts, equips and sells gear without you. Getting there early is the single largest time saving available on day one.
- Open the Mercenary Guild via the clover button, top right, and take the attack, defence and max-HP perks.
- Burn your free Daily Dungeon keys before the reset. Keys are capped daily and refill by ad, so unspent ones are gone.
- Build one Vanguard, one Defender and one Shooter before you invest in a fourth copy of anything.
- Feed Resolve last. It is flat stat gain with no gate behind it, which makes it the correct place to dump leftovers rather than the first place to spend.
Codes: none are live
There are no working redemption codes as of August 1, 2026. Two independent trackers, both updated July 31, confirm an empty list. Any page telling you to "redeem the launch codes" is padding.
The code circulating as COOKIERUNCRUMBLENO1 appears only on low-tier aggregators, is contradicted by both better trackers, and should be treated as unverified (T3). We are not printing it as working.
Redemption itself is worth learning now, because it is web-based rather than in-game and catches people out when the first real code drops:
- Open https://coupon.devplay.com/coupon/cc/en in a browser.
- Find your Member ID (MID) under your avatar, top left in game, and enter it.
- Enter the code. Codes are case-sensitive and single-use per account.
- Click CLAIM REWARD, restart the game, collect from the mailbox.
Launch-day reception
Cookie Run: Crumble reached #1 in free games on the South Korean App Store on launch day, a result Devsisters announced on July 31. The franchise it belongs to has 300 million cumulative players and over $1 billion in lifetime revenue since 2007, so a Korean chart-topper is closer to the expected floor than a surprise. Global numbers have not been broken out.
Three things that will say where this lands
- Whether Devsisters publishes rates before the first banner rotation. The launch banner is running with no rate sheet and no confirmed pity. Every reroll guide currently in circulation is guessing.
- The August 29 cliff. Retention after the mailbox and the 30-day attendance track both expire is the first honest read on whether the idle loop holds players who are not being paid to log in.
- Whether Plaque Tower and Arena get content cadence. No post-launch roadmap has been announced as of August 1, 2026, which is the only genuinely missing piece of information rather than an unpublished one.
